~THIS BIKE WOULD MAKE AN EXCELLENT CHRISTMAS GIFT~
THIS BIKE IS IN EXCELLENT CONDITION, IT IS WAY TOO NICE TO RESTORE. IT WOULD BENEFIT FROM A GOOD DETAILING AND POLISHING. IT STARTS WITH ONE OR TWO KICKS. IT STILL HAS POINT IGNITION. IT DOES NOT HAVE THE CORRECT CARBS ON IT BUT IT RUNS VERY WELL ON THE DEL'ORTOS, TOO GOOD TO CHANGE TO AMALS. EVERYTHING WORKS, ELECTRICALLY AND MECHANICALLY. THE FRONT BRAKE PADS NEED TO BE BEDDED IN.
- Titled as a 1971 Dunstall (engine and frame are matching numbers with a July 1970 build date) - not a stateside conversion.
- 750 iron cylinder - not aluminum
- 5 speed Quaife
- 6847 miles
- Bike is not restored - has some patina
- All dunstall equipment except windshield, which has been replaced (Gustafson)
- Bike has not been down while moving, believe it has tipped over and cracked fairing and windshield. Fairing has had slight repairs done to it.
- The wheels are Borranis as is correct for a Dunstall
- The master cylinder and calipers are rebuilt with new pads, 20 miles
- Tires almost new
- Exhaust, excellent condition - no rot or bad chrome
- Del'Orto 34mm pumper carbs (not original - should be 32mm Amals)
- Ignition key fits rear luggage compartment
- No tools
