1967 Triumph 650CC, not sure of model. This bike was bought in 84' by the brother of a friend. They overhauled it and used it for the summer then they parked it where she is today in a dry garage. We pulled her out the other day, added a new battery and fresh gas and she started and ran ok. It does need a good carb cleaning and possibly a rear tube in the back tire. It pumps up but won't hold for long. The tire looks new and I do believe it's fine. It also has oil dripping out under the back fender. It appears to have a overflow tube or something back there. For the life of me I can't figure out why someone thought this was good design. Why would you EVER want oil dripping on your back tire?????? Anyway, I am sure a Triumph enthusias will know the reason and maybe it will make since.

This is a 1956 Triumph Thunderbird 6T with numbers matching frame and motor. The bike was parked in a barn since 1978, and the motor has not been run since then. The motor does have good compression. I believe the front end is not the correct one for this bike. Includes original oil tank, side cover, amal carb, shocks, and rims. Also includes brand new oil tank, handlebar grips, and pedals. Also includes wrench and socket set and maintenance manuals.

Up for auction is a 1971 Triumph 650 Bonneville, 5 speed, OIF bike I have had in the shed with good intentions for too long. It is a great candidate for restoration. Here is what I know about the bike. The frame, engine, and title numbers all match. I DO have a good Ohio title for the bike. It is about 95% complete. Here is a list of the things I see that are missing; the outer airbox covers and boots, taillight lens, center stand, side stand, Thus the 2x4 prop rod that you see in the pics. and the front fender. The engine and tranny are complete and have not been torn into since I have owned the bike. I have had it for a couple of years. The engine is seized. I'm not sure why, but if I had to guess I'd say it is from years of sitting in a barn without moving(which is where I found it), but that is completely a guess since I haven't tore it down to be sure. The wiring appears to all be there. It is the original wiring with most of the original connectors in place and most of the aluminum wire tabs still holding it in place. Random items such as the headlight and taillight are unhooked, but I have no idea why. They are just unhooked for some random reason apparently. On the bright side most of the harness is uncut. All of the electrical components are original Lucas equipment. The seat is an aftermarket 2 up seat. It has a small tear in it on the right side. The front end has apparently been changed out for a newer Triumph model with disc brakes. I believe this model should have drum brakes stock. The front end matches the one on a newer 750 I have that I am parting out. And the front end is installed backwards. The brake caliper should be on the other side. I don't know who did that, but it wasn't me. It's no big deal to change back. I'm not sure what the actual mileage is on the bike, the gauges are also MIA. Now, as far as I can tell the rest of the bike is original equipment from the correct year. It's time to thin down my herd of bikes, and spend more time on the projects that I'm actually progressing. And hopefully get this one into the hands of someone who will do something with it. Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I will answer them to the best of my ability. Please don't ask me to end the auction early. Once it starts, I will not end the auction early. Local pickup is preferred. If you must ship the bike, shipping will be the responsibility of the buyer. I will help in whatever way I can, but in the end setting it up and paying for it will be up to the buyer. International buyers are welcome, but be prepared international shipping on something this size is a nightmare. If anybody out there has the answer to this, or knows the best way to ship something of this size overseas please feel free to clue me in on the secret. Take a look at the pics. What you see is what you get. Thanks for looking and good luck bidding.

This is part of a collection I've been liquidating for a few years. This unit was purchased in the early 80's.Its probably been ridden 25 miles. It was carried with a race ca in a trailer as a "pit bike" .What a pit bike.I believe it to be almost new. It has the prope Rickman exhaust and excellent Rickman glass. It was running 3 weeks ago.It is obviously an off road bike and it could be easily converted to street. We've taken care of the hard part.It has a title.it is owned by a dealer in Az.The bike is physically located in the State of Tennessee. If you are a resident of Az. you will be liable for State and Local taxes.
