This is my long term owned, Triumph TR7V. I've owned this bike for nearly 20 years, and it has been an occaisional favorite rider. I'm a bike nut and have too many bikes, too little money and a once in a lifetime opportunity has come up requiring considerable cash. I really don't want to sell 'her', but I want to take my opportunity, as it will not come around again. I've cared for this bike as you would a grandchild. When I bought it, it really didn't NEED anything, but soon I replaced the megaphones with a new set of standard mufflers, and you can see the more modern tires, I was going to ride it and the original tires from the factory were toast. Good Dunlop 591s makes for tires you can rely on and have sevved me well, and are fine still. Regular oil changes, everything as it came originally. Original paint still holding up even for the 30 plus years. Recently had to correct a leaky exhaust rocker assembly, now fine. For a triumph twin, this bike runs and rides great and I still enjoy it. It is just time for you to enjoy the nostalgia of a Triumph too. This it a nice bike to ride and reliable, recently was invited to ride it in a parade, she didn't miss a beat. Many other bikes in the parade became fussy but not greenie. TR7s are considerably more desirable than Bonnevilles from the reliability perspective for the rider. They are steady and don't have as much fiddling required with the twin carbs. In reality, the twin carbs do not perform any better except at the very top of the speed range, usually about 3-5 mph greater speed. However, you are not likely to buy a troublesome bike if you want to enjoy the riding of it. This is the rider one wants over a fussier mount. I will sell and ship to anywhere in the world, but shipping is your responsibility cost wise. I will make it go where you are, or want it to be. That we will have to work out, I'll help. Please ask any questions, I'll give you the straight skinny on everything. She really needs nothing, except to be riden and enjoyed, polished and adored, shown with pride to all, you will get stopped and have to kibbitz with many people.
